RANDALL'S LOST NEW YORK CITY COLLECTION Welcome to the Lost New York City store, here you may purchase a growing number of my hand-cast gargoyles, chimera and other 19th century architectural elements, as well as Art Deco and Sullivanesque sculptures. What has since 1999 become known as Randall's Lost New York City was started in 1980 in New York City with an ad in Apartment Life Magazine's December issue, several sculptures were used in a featured room setting in a subsequent issue the following spring. I accept Pay-Pal or checks, if you do not feel comfortable clicking on the Pay-Pal links, I can send you a Pay-Pal invoice with your total on request. The only designs which are available to purchase are added to the store page as I complete the models and molds. I add new designs regularly, check my BLOG for current designs in the works- Link further down the page. I do custom sculpting, mold making and casting, as well as some of the pieces can be modified. Have an idea you wish to look into to use one of these pieces? building a brick wall or house and want a keystone over the doorway? drop me a line, I can custom cast my pieces so they can be built into the wall. Have some deteriorated architectural elements on your house that need replacements? - I do custom design and sculpture modelling for replacement architectural elements which are then cast in concrete. NOTICE: I do not at any time sell molds, patterns or designs for "do it yourself casting," I do not sell "to the trade" to do this either, I sell finished sculptures for home decor. The growing number of designs in the Lost New York City Collection store created entirely by Randall are copyrighted, this includes the few casts made from modified or otherwise altered originals, with all rights reserved on these modifications and changes.
The standard cast-stone I maintain inventory of is for INTERIOR display or display under a covered area such as a porch. Sculptures are sometimes photographed outdoors strictly to use natural sunlight.
99.9% of my sales are interior items, if you plan to use something in the garden be sure to contact me first before ordering to ensure the particular item can be cast in concrete, not all of them will.
NOTE PLEASE: I moved out of New York City in 1984- I reside in IOWA I do not have a store display, finished inventory sitting on the shelf, or a retail bricks and mortar store people can come and browse or purchase things from- almost every order is CUSTOM cast and is only finished at the time an order is paid for.
