1-3 East 7th St., corner of Hall Place.

St George's Ukranian Church in the backgroud- Nr 24-28 East 7th St and this corner building were both demolished to make way for a new St George which was built in the 19th century STYLE, and sporting a copper dome!

The corner apartment building was built in 1909 at a cost of $48,000

Records do not show a street number, according to the map shown it occupied essentially Nr 16-20 E7th st and 1-3 Hall Place. As I recall the front entrance was on the Hall Place side.

It is centered on the map and is block Nr 462, lot 7, with 75' fronting 7th st and 68.2' fronting Hall Place. North is to the right.

I salvaged four of those large limestone festoon panels that can be seen under the windows on the 2nd floor. These weighed 600 pounds each, 2 or 3 of them were intact this one was broken in half, all were laying on top of the wooden scaffold on the 7th st side where I found them;

The Cooper Union Abraham Hewitt memorial building on the map was demolished in late 2006- early 2007
